This special event invites first-time participants, ages 5 to 9, to try hockey for free through the Get Out And Learn program presented by Safelite.

Through Get Out And Learn, the Blue Jackets aim to remove barriers of entry to the sport and offer children the opportunity to experience the excitement of hockey without the time commitment, cost of purchasing equipment. Designed for first-time participants, these hockey clinics will introduce the exciting sport of hockey in a fun and safe environment.

This special event will be hosted on the McConnell St Plaza at Nationwide Arena, 200 W. Nationwide Blvd (Corner of Nationwide Blvd and John H. McConnel Blvd near the Arena Tim Horton's).

Get Out And Learn is intended for new, first-time players, not those already in a hockey program. Children currently participating in a league or hockey classes are not eligible. In an effort to accommodate as many families as possible, Get Out And Learn is a one-time participation program.
