The Blue Jackets Hockey League Scholarship Fund
The Blue Jackets Hockey League is dedicated to ensuring that all children, regardless of financial circumstances, have the opportunity to participate in our programs. We offer full and partial scholarships for children ages 5-14, based on demonstrated hardship and need. These scholarships provide children with the chance to enjoy and benefit from the incredible experiences that our league offers.
How to Help
Donate to the Scholarship Fund
Help make hockey more accessible for families in the Blue Jackets Hockey League. Your donation directly supports the CBJHL Scholarship Fund, helping reduce the cost of participation for players and families who need financial assistance.
Last season, the league awarded scholarships to 46 players, providing more than $19,000 in total assistance to help kids stay on the ice and continue enjoying the game.
With registration continuing to grow each year, the need for scholarship support continues to grow as well. We would love your help to outdo last season’s impact and provide even more opportunities for players and families throughout the community.
Every donation, no matter the size, helps create a more accessible, welcoming, and positive hockey experience for young athletes.

How to Help
Blue Jackets' 50/50 Raffle
Each year, the Blue Jackets Hockey League has one night at a Columbus Blue Jackets game to sell 50/50 raffle tickets. In the 2025-2026 the Blue Jackets Hockey League had the 15th highest jackpot with $2,656 raised. This season, we are aiming to be even higher, making hockey accessible for more families! Please consider helping by buying tickets at the game, online, or volunteering to sell tickets!
Volunteering to sell tickets is a great way to support the Blue Jackets Hockey League. The more people we have to sell tickets, the bigger the jackpot, and ultimately more families gain access to ice hockey. Stay tuned for more information closer to the season!
