Get Out And Learn pres. by Safelite Ice Hockey
The Columbus Blue Jackets and Ohio State University Women's Hockey team are teaming up to celebrate girls hockey on Saturday, October 8th.
Join us and the 2020-21 National Championship Lady Buckeyes for Get Out And Learn presented by Safelite, a 30-minute try hockey for free clinic at the OSU Ice Rink.
This opportunity invites girls ages 5-9 to attend the OSU Women's game to watch the Buckeyes versus St. Cloud State at 3PM. After the game, registered participants will learn skating and hockey basics during our clinic from the female athletes.
Through Get Out And Learn, the Blue Jackets aim to remove barriers of entry to the sport and offer children the opportunity to experience the excitement of hockey without the time commitment, cost of purchasing equipment, or the ability to skate. Designed for first-time participants, these hockey clinics will introduce the exciting sport of hockey in a fun and safe environment.
Get Out And Learn is intended for new, first-time players, not those already in a hockey program. Children currently participating in a league or hockey classes are not eligible. In an effort to accommodate as many families as possible, Get Out And Learn is a one-time participation program.
