Coaches and Managers!

Please join us for a Blue Jackets Hockey League Coaches’ Game followed by a Post-Game Hockey Talk!

We’ll start with a fun, friendly game on the ice, then head into an engaging and interactive hockey talk designed to spark ideas and shared learning. Coaches will break into small groups, become experts on a key area of the game, and then coach their peers through what they’ve learned. Topics will include passing, scoring, skating, stickhandling, contact, and goaltending. Come play, connect, and learn from one another in a relaxed and collaborative setting.

Agenda:

• 8:00-8:30 - Coaches' Game Check-In - Ice Haus
  
• 8:30-9:45 - Coaches' Game - Ice Haus
• 10:15-11:30 - Hockey Talk - Activity Center

The Coaches' Game will take place at Chiller Ice Haus. To participate in the Coaches' Game you must be a registered Blue Jackets Hockey League Coach and will need to provide and wear your own gear including:

Players:

• Helmet
• Gloves, elbow pads, shoulder pads, shin pads, jock/jill, hockey pants
• Hockey stick
• Hockey skates

Goalies:

• HECC Approved Helmet and Cage
• Leg Pads, Chest Protector, Goalie Blocker, Goalie Glove, Hockey Pants, Jock/Jill
• Hockey skates
• Goalie stick

You do not have to play in order to participate in the hockey talk, please sign up for the Hockey Talk Only Option. All options of this event are free to join but please register soon to secure your spot! 

This event will count as 2 hours of your optional Blue Jackets Hockey League Continuing Education.
