Blue Jackets Hockey League Overview

The Blue Jackets Hockey League, presented by Tim Hortons, in association with Pedialyte and Feazel, is a local, city-wide hockey program for boys and girls aged 5 to 14 years old. Committed to providing a world-class experience, our league follows the American Development Model and principles of long-term athlete development to help young athletes reach their full potential. Players benefit from the guidance of USA Hockey certified volunteer coaches and league development coaches.

Registration Dates

Registration is closed for Option A and B and C. 

Spring Season Registration: February 9 - March 2, 2026

Registration Options

Spring Season: April - May

• 6U, 8U, 10U - $350
• Registration opens February 9. Will close on March 2 or when all spots are filled.

Typical Weekly Schedule

6U, 8U, 10U Spring Season

• 2 Ice Sessions per week
  • 1x Training Session - Tuesdays - 6:10 or 7:10 pm - 50 minutes
  • 1x GameDay (Modified Ice Game Play – i.e., cross ice, quarter ice, third ice, etc.) - Fridays - 6:10 or 7:10 pm - 50 minutes
  • Programming will rotate between Chiller Dublin, North, and Easton.

Pre-Requisites

Players who recently graduated from CBJ Learn to Play and Option C Blue Jackets Hockey League players.

Your player will need a 2025-26 USA Hockey Membership.

Required Gear

League Provided:

• One Blue Jackets Hockey League Reversible Jersey
• One pair reversible hockey socks

Players Provided:

• Helmet with cage
• Gloves, elbow pads, shoulder pads, shin pads, jock/jill, hockey pants
• Hockey stick
• Hockey skates
• Neck Laceration Protection (Neck Guard)

Goaltending Equipment:

• Goaltending equipment will be provided by the Blue Jackets Hockey League, and everyone will have the chance to play goalie.

Volunteer Opportunities

The league thrives on the dedication of volunteers in both on-ice and off-ice roles:

• On-ice: Coaches, Goalie Coaches - Skating ability is not necessary
• Off-ice: Team Manager, Social Manager, Equipment Manager

Refund Policy:

For Spring Season registrations:

Refund requests made prior to March 2, 2026 will receive a full refund. 

Refund requests made on or after March 2, 2026 will receive a full refund minus a $75 administrative fee. 

Refund requests made on or after April 10, 2026 will receive not receive a refund.
